I am a whatsapp user. Few days back, I was missing my wife and asked her to send her nude pics through whatsapp. When she sent the pics, she immediately deleted them from her mobile and I also did the same after seeing them. We both are using net through mobile operator service.

Now, I am very much worried whether the pics are leaked on the Net. I am not getting proper sleep and am always worrying about the pics getting leaked. Please help. Is the data secured and how long are those pics going to stay with the servers or has anybody got access to the pictures over internet?

Please kindly help by replying. I regret my act because it can spoil her and my image in social circles if the photos are leaked. Kindly reply fast.

Thank you.

if you both have deleted the pic from your mobile then i dont think there is a chance of getting them leaked. She might have deleted these pics from the gallery or the camera folder, she also need to delete the pics from WhatsApp sent folder or simply from her chat window. No worries.. Enjoy..

No , it can not be leaked like the way you said , yeah its true that even WhatsApp saves the users data , but they won't make it public , they use it for analysis, and the result of that analysis they sell to advertisers and for brand management ( and that mostly done by text analysis). So you don't have to worry. You can continue all this that's not a big deal the only thing keep your mobile phones save , mostly people who put the nude pics on internet are leaked by their dear ones which called revenge porn. So don't worry keep enjoying but take proper care. Even I can say now a days millions of nude pics are floating on internet so who cares...

Yes there is a chance that your pics may be leak. In market many applications that helps in restoration of deleted file. So I suggest to not give your cellphone to anyone who attach that to pc. There is safe way is gmail. You can see without downloading the pic so you need not to delete. Be careful

Hi,
Its not a issue because whatsapp uses the encryption method for the images nowadays once you send a image it get encrypt and  it only de-encrypt  only in the receivers handsets the company only has only the coded encrypt data which is store for maximum two years for security reasons.
As you said you had deleted your private pics there will be no issues but to be safe side please format your phone once so the the image cant be recovered even you sell the phone to someone else.
And for future times please avoid the face in the images so there would be no reason for the sleepless nights .Have fun

Hhuman,

According to the experts, there’s no such thing as a deleted photo. Because even if you’ve moved your images to ‘trash,’ chances are that they’re still out there. When taking such photos, use a drive with encryption software. It’s the only way to keep your photos safe and unseen because it’s unreadable unless you have the password.

The chances that these photos will surface again are rather remote and there is no point in losing sleep over this issue.

However in the case where these are brought to your notice by family members, or your social circle, respond quickly. Contact the authorities. Don’t panic. Often the authorities can help with the perpetrators of the crime but are unable to act if the photos / video has been uploaded to servers located outside their jurisdiction. Be prepared to deal with getting your pictures / video taken down as a separate issue.

It is wrong to assume that once your photo or video is taken off the issue is resolved. It could have been copied and uploaded somewhere else. The longer the content has been up the more likely it has spread to other networks and websites.

The best thing to do is to just relax and tackle the problem when it arises.

You have done a wrong thing.Your worry is genuine.Never do such things again.Hugh risk is involved if you  are hacked by someone.Separation from wife made you to act in this way.Always keep wife with you, talk or chat with her daily.Keep her photo in your purse. Please do the needful.

As many said, latest version is technically safe. However, there is chance that nude pics reach wrong hands as mobile devices are easily reachable to kids and others when you leave it somewhere. So you should take extra precautions, which is a burden. Also there is chance of you getting tempted to exchange her nude pics with your "close" friends either real life or internet friends for exchange offers. Note that its crime to send/exchange pics/videos in compromising gestures without approval of them. Beware, dont commit crime. Hopefully you have "good" intention of only relieving yourself. On side note: When you have millions of such pics/videos in net why going for only wife pic...Hahaha...you seem to be real extreme case of lover :-D. Anyway all the best for whatsapp channel.
