I had protected sex with a hooker the day before yesterday. I licked the hooker's pussy. Can I get HIV from that? What can I do in order to prevent that?

Chances are less to get HIV through licking so do not worry even if she is HIV pretentious. If she is healthy and did not have any disease then you are fine and no need to worry. If such thing worries you, then avoid visiting sex workers in future and depend on masturbation, as it is safe practice to remove sexual urge.

banarjee,

HIV is spread through contact with body fluids. This could be semen, vaginal fluid, blood and breast milk. It is NOT spread through tears, sweat, faces and urine.

So, it can be spread by vaginal sex, anal sex and oral sex. It does not always mean that if you had sex with an infected person, you will definitely get HIV/AIDS but the chances are very high. So one time, can be enough. HIV is spread through blood, by sharing needles if taking drugs, or using unsterilized needles for tattoos and body piercings and blood transfusions.

When you kiss a woman’s pussy or she gives you oral sex and she has the virus, this can be transmitted through tiny cuts on the gums or on the penis. These cuts may be so tiny that you do not see it or feel it.

Since you had protected sex and used a condom, the chances of getting STD/HIV are less, but still there is a chance if the hooker has HIV herself.

You should get yourself tested for HIV and repeat the test after 3 months.

I find it strange that you licked the prostitute's pussy. The prostitute is supposed to entertain you, not the other way around. A man (or for that matter, a woman in case she is a lesbian) licks his partners' pussy to excite and ignite her such that she comes close to or even climaxes. The man cares for her enjoyment because he is with her either as a friend/fuck-buddy or husband. Yours was purely a commercial episode and you should not have licked her pussy, for what does she care? I guess, it was the novelty of licking a pussy. Most probably, this was your first encounter with a female. Never ever do it again.

The chances are always high while sex with hookers. The chances of getting infection in licking is less so no need to worry. As a routine process you have to test your blood after certain interval You dont know when the window period starts.

Contact of body fluid is the main source of infection so in next time just sex with condom and avoid oral.
